Interesting Facts about Eurovision Song Contest

The 1969 Eurovison entry by the UK was a song called "Boom Bang-a-Bang". It was sung by Luluk
who sang the smash hit, "To Sir, With Love". She also starred in the film of the same name.

Denmark was the host of the largest Eurovision concert in 2001 were about 38,000 people packed into a football stadium.

The smallest town to have hosted the Eurovision was in 1993, in Millstreet, in County Cork, Ireland. Population: 1,500. The venue as Green Glens Arena with a capacity for 8,000 people.
