Ryan Ferrada

Why: I was keeping an eye on Ryan all last year and got to chat to him several times. He produces a slinky, sometimes dirty sound of pop that works well in a down and funky club setting as well as it does singing into a hairbrush around your bedroom. Touch You Sexy is a gorgeous electro-pop groove, while the bonus track on his forthcoming album, Go To Bed is a fuzzy late night chill out vibe that just washes over you. Sadly his version of Burning Up won’t see the light of day, but the rest of the album is bound to be a corker…Here is what Ryan said when he found out he was on the list…

Why: I sort of neglected Sergey in 2007. I first listened to his solo stuff way back in 2006, then sort of let him slip away from me. Then his TV Show album came out and has just got stronger and stronger each time i listen to it. Plus Sergey isn’t just a pop star, he’s an entertainment machine, ruling shows like Dancing on Ice and Cirque de Celebrite in his native Russia.
