Good people of Stockholm! Now you have an alternative on 25.12.07 if you don't want to watch the Swedish TV equivalent of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire/The Vicar of Dibley on Christmas night....why not go along to the Debaser club in Sodermalm and see the wonderful Salem Al Fakir, who has just announced a gig there. He is definitely a contender for the title of "hardest working man in showbusiness"! Fingers crossed that Santa Claus might even have brought him a new pullover :-)))
Anyway it reminds me of when I was in Stockholm in May this year with my faithful travelling companion, and one night we decided to go over to check out Sodermalm. We had a lovely Chinese meal at a restaurant just across the road from Debaser, then we sat out at a bar just across the square from that trendy rock club. Never mind that we're both the wrong side of trendy, but it didn't stop us having quite a memorable evening in Sodermalm if only because this part of the city boasts more young goodlooking people than our base on Norrmalm, so we both enjoyed the respective views on offer!
