Around month ago Eric Amarillo from The Attic has presented his new solo-single "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" - track that we put our hope on but didn't expect that everything will go so fantastic for this release.
"Om Sanningen Ska Fram" has rocketed immediately appearing in iTunes-charts of Scnadinavian neighbours and becoming #1 hit in Sweden this week! I should mention that the highest entry of The Attic before was their colaboration with Therese "The Arrival" (and it was just #18) and by the way new Eric's song has made brilliant continuation of this year's trend of dance music in Swedish success.
Single has got support of new video that is live cut of The Attic clubbing, travelling and having fun, nothing new but looking nice and not boring at all.

This year we give victory in nomination Best Melodifestivalen remixes pack to... Loreen with mixes to her single "My Heart Is Refusing Me"! It's fine that it was delivered with a small delay, result has become worthy waiting. Three brilliant mixes - dark house-mix from Ali Payami, beautiful trance-mix from Michael Feiner & Eric Amarillo (The Attic) and club stomper from PJ Harmony. Our fave here is The Attic's mix with dreamy piano-keys switching to powerful dancefloor killer track that we've completely fallen for last weeekend in Stockholm.
I also recommend you to check very interesting Loreen's interview taken during Schlagerfiasko's melotrip, in this interview Loreen revealed that "Sober" that was earlier announced as next single can be replaced by another track "If She's The One". We don't care about choise actually because any new step of Loreen's career is gonna be exciting, inspiring and not less than amazing!

OMG! Iconic Swedish pop-song gets rebirth by another Swedish pop-icon. Can it be any better? Definitely!
My newly discovered very interesting blog Swedish Rush supporting a lot of great pop-artists which I support too (so you should check it!) has found out recent performance (this June to be more accurate) of Danny in Poland when he was singing his own version of The Attic's probably biggest hit "In Your Eyes" and though arrangement stays 100% the same Danny's vocal makes it different. I really-really like Michael Feiner's vocal but if Michael sings it in more intimate and thoughtful way that is more proper for club records, Danny shows more expressive vocals bringing a lot of his own personality and making this a little bit poppier. Due to rumours on Polish forums (even google has "danny in your eyes" as autofilling tips so the song seems to becoming really popular among massive Danny's fanbase) new single is planned for release in Sweden and Poland very soon so get ready for a new music from Danny!

Our beloved Swedish dance-heroes The Attic give us a piece of their new stuff that would be more proper as released Summer single but however it's very generous from them not to keep us waiting till new official releases and to share what they are about already now.
"Free" is ultra-catchy club-track built mostly on Michael's saxophone part, it's not as poppy as "Radiate" that I told you about in May but it has all those things which make The Attic so adorable - amazing tune that you remember from the first listen and can't get out of your head no matter how you try, great energy and always high quality.
Track is not released as The Attic's though, it's not clear for what it means (guys also released another track "Rock N Roll" as Michael Feiner & Eric Amarillo before) but who cares as long as Michael and Eric work together and keep providing us with something new.

Swedish House Diva Therese Grankvist is back! Therese has become famous for Swedish audience back in 90s when she was brought by Dr. Alban to a dance project Drömhus. Drömhus had a lot of entries in charts (like "Du och Jag", "Håll Dig Nära", etc.) but the biggest one was hit #1 "Vill ha dig". In 1999 Drömhus with the song "Stjärna på himmelen" has managed to reach 2nd place on Melodifestivalen right after Charlotte Nilsson-Perrelli who later brought Sweden its last victory on Eurovision. Project's life wasn't too long and Therese has gone solo being faithfull to dance-music though. Her single "Monkey" was noticed by audience in 2002 and "Time" has entered Top-20, in 2003 Therese released her first solo album "Acapulco". Further highlights of Therese' career were different successful collaborations with other projects like Stonebridge ("Put 'em High", "Take me away"), The Attic ("The Arrival"), Danny ("If Only You") and now it's time to come back as solo-artist so Therese's releasing new single "Drop It Like It's Hot" and should I say mention that Therese still stays faithful to her club roots? You can also find nice b-side "Say It (In The Morning)" on this single and you can hear it in Kia Venga commercial as well.

Four years ago Swedish house-duo The Attic released brilliant album "The One" that can be considered as classics of Swedish dance-music. Single "In Your Eyes" has become big radio-hit not only inside of Sweden, band took participation in Melodifestivalen with beautiful Therese Grankvist and provided music theme for the contest as well. Since that band has released many different demo-tracks, mixes and even some independent singles like "Flash In The Night" (cover of Secret Service's hit) but fans still waited for a totally new stuff and seems like the waiting is over and we get absolutely new track - "Radiate" that looks like old good The Attic with renewed sound. Enjoy!
