Billboard is as American as apple pie, the fourth of July, and the Stars and Stripes. They have been around for, like Forever!! Welcome back to Billboard Music Awards! Glad to see that they have finally come back on the bandwagon (pun intended) and will be broadcasting their long-awaited Amazing Awards show!!
It all started in a dusty little room on January 4, 1936 that Billboard magazine came into existence with its first publication of the American music Hit Parade. By 1940, Billboard created the first Music Popularity Chart tracking hundreds of songs all across America. Soon after, their charts diversified and eventually consolidated in the late 1950s into the Top Hot 100. The Billboard charts now include not only single sales, but also radio airplay time, as well as digital downloads. Billboard has come a long way - is here to stay - and is always looking to the future! Okay, enough with the bio. We're here to enjoy some GREAT music! (nobody reads this stuff anyway!!!)
Important Notice: I have done a lot of research online and have noticed that there a A LOT of blogs and websites claiming that they can provide links to LIVE ONLINE STREAMING, but unfortunately they are misleading!! They all fail to mention one very important little piece of information. And that is, if you are NOT within the United States, you will be blocked from watching Billboard Music Awards on the ABC online network.
Sadly, not even us Canadians can count on getting any reception from our dear close neighbours!! We are considered "foreign" - ouch! Hey America - I thought we were friends!
No problemo. If you are foreign, like me (haha) click on the CTV online network and you can still watch the Awards show ON-LINE IN LIVE STREAMING VIDEO!!! Yay!!! Canadians are much more friendlier to the world!!
