One other annoying trend for me over the past couple of years has been the saturation of the market by one overrated female solo singer after another. For that reason I had the knives out before I even heard anything by Ellie Goulding, that was until I heard "Starry Eyed".

I can't describe the reason why I like this song, but I just like it. The follow-up "Guns and Horses" was ok too, but I can't really get into her other stuff. So I'll just stick with her debut hit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PULdPep_xfs
