Damn you Lily Allen! I had a whole plan for my posts this week, but that has been completely thrown off course by the debut of her reported new comeback single "GWB"... I've always liked D'Luv's favourite female singer ever, but this is one of those songs that as soon as I heard it, I had to hear it again instantly. And then again and again. And to be honest it's getting a bit ridiculous now. It's like when you are smooching and canoodling with a hot dude for the first time. You can't just stop - you have to go back for more and more and more. Anyway, Lily is at it again - Guess Who Batman (as I suspect the record company are calling it) is probably the best way to bridge the sound of the first album with the possibly more electronic second album. It's as perky and bouncy as "Alfie"/"LDN" (my fave tracks from Alright, Still) and gleefully skips along with a plinky piano backing track matched to the kiss off lyrics. And it's the lyrics that make the song so perfect and remind me why the Katy Perrys of this well will never be as magnificent as skanky Lily is. A thinly veiled attack on the odious George W Bush (but equally as applicable for say, the British National Party), the record company seems to be playing it safe after the V Festival outburst last year. Still, who isn't sick to the back teeth of Gormless George? This will no doubt be played at many parties to celebrate the end of his idiotic reign of terror. Here are a few of the choice put downs that grabbed my attention...

- "So you say it's not okay to be gay/well i think you're just evil/you're just some racist who can't tie my laces/your point of view is medieval"
- "Do you really enjoy living a life that's so hateful?/Cos there is a hole where your soul should be/You're losing control of it/And it's really distasteful"
- "Fuck you! Fuck you very much/Cos we hate what you do/And we hate what you do/Please don't stay in touch"
