Has Sweden got new dance-wonder or does new single "We Shine" from Alex Saidac sound like the biggest Swedish export dance-pop hope? I'm sure both!
Alex Saidac is completely new name for many and as before she was working as DJ (touring all over Europe) you unlikely heard her name attached to some Swedish pop-releases before, though it makes her debut even more exciting.
Being signed to new Alexander Bard's label SoFo Records she's got help of not less than Jakke Erixson and Oscar Holter and if you've heard The Pusher's music before you'll catch hand of this team in melody of "We Shine" as well. But comparing with The Pusher's stuff "We Shine" is the purest dance-pop with international hit-sound in style of last Ke$ha dance-experiments, you can also find some parallels with Gravitonas that's undoubfully good thing. New Alex's album is expected to arrive already this year and video is to come very soon so we're gonna keep our heads up about this artist further. Cuz we all shine!

The Pusher's debut single "Blinded By The Dark" has already managed to make some buzz among Swedish pop lovers during last year (read here) but even some truly great songs requires serious work before release so it was dragged quite long and what we had was just a live video, good for presentation of band but now we get something more interesting - completely new video from The Pusher. Quite dark (in all senses) video where the band is running, hunted and tormented but no worries, it has not so bad end, someone will survive I promise!
I still consider the song as oustanding hit with huge potential that needs to get a better promo-push to present band for a bigger audience.

And third great comeback was made today by Jimmy Jansson! Surprisingly he's coming back without his surname and with quite new sound.
Jimmy is just 25 but he can easily be called schlager-veteran as all his music career last 8 years was rolling around schlager. Firstly he appeared in front of big audience at Melodifestivalen-2002, that year he performed in band Poets with the song "What Difference Does It Make" and though guys didn't reach final Jimmy has made it alone later in 2005. After his previous attempt he has gone through Bert Karlsson's school - Fame Factory where he has met his sweetheart Sandra Dahlberg, they lived together quite long time and got son Wilmer in 2007. In 2005 song "Vi Kan Gunga" put him on 6th place of Melodifestivalen final but it wasn't his last participation as he came back in 2007 with song "Amanda" written by Thomas G:Son (who wrote "What Difference Does It Make") that reached Second Chance and stuck there. Later "Amanda" was covered by Spanish band D'NASH (they won Spanish selection to Eurovision with "I Love You Mi Vida" also written by G:Son).
Year before Jimmy presented new band Svea Kafé performing as frontman with musicians of Fashion/The Pusher. Svea Kafé released debut single "För Din Skull" that musically was somewhere between new The Pusher's music and old Jimmy's albums, however it sounded quite fresh but the band existed not too long and Jimmy is back solo.
New single "Ditt Hjärta" is recognizable Jimmy Jansson but more adult with light touch of old pop-rock Kent's sound and lovely pop-melody, emotional, gentle and beautiful.
I should mention that all Jimmy's albums reached Top-10 and all but one singles Top-5 so it can easily become new Jimmy's success!

It's always exciting when some brilliant pop-songwriter starts his own project and moreover when he has a nice voice and builds basic conception of project with all seriousness of previous experience.
Jakob Erixson - half of famous songwriting duo Holter/Erixson recently has built his own band Fashion presenting loads of pretty amazing new pop-rock stuff with loads great melodies you could enjoy before in songs of Amy Diamond, Kostas Martakis, Industry and tons of productions and mixes of many other Swedish top-artists where Jakob was involved in. If you've been following live-shows on TV this Summer you could also notice Fashion as live band behind many pop-artists so hopefully very soon we'll see them on these events as independent artists.
When I've been waiting for official release of the first band's single "Blinded By The Dark" Fashion already managed to change their name to The Pusher and though single is somewhere very close I guess I should finally present it before band will change name again or staff or will break up and return again.
"Blinded By The Dark" along with other The Pusher's songs is beautiful pop-rock track with broken feelings but living hope and massive freedom spirit. No need to say all elements of production are on a highest level and tune is pure perfection. You should also check the rest of their stuff as 100% of it deserves your attention. Go and check them if you didn't yet!!!
