It's always heart-melting when huge artists make some charity activity releasing new music to help those who really need it. This Autumn Idol-show has made successful shot when show participants released song "All I Need Is You" that reached #2 of Swedish chart and a bit later we've got another release from whole bunch of the loudest names of Swedish pop - Ola, Darin, Alcazar, Jessica Folcker, Sarah Dawn Finer, Plura, Velvet, Hanna Hedlund, Martin Stenmarck, Lasse Berghagen, Anna Maria Espinosa, Claes Janson, Dolly Dolores, Jasmine Kara, Anna Sahlin, Kim Fransson, Promoe and Jakob Hellman. Something incredible? Whole project was initiated by Tess Merkel from Alcazar in collaboration with SOS Barnbyar organization to help kids who lost parents or who live in financialy especially problematic terms. The song "Ta Min Hand", very kind hopeful a bit funky and a bit gospel-breathing track, was written by Christopher Dominique and Mårten Edh and released physically and digitally.
Company around "Ta Min Hand" was also supported by big concert in Kungsträdgården and performances on TV and radio, so below you can watch official video for this song and performance in Efter Tio.

These days I'm sorta lost track of the biggest music TV-shows of Sweden and seems like the most actual thing around them recently was not even performances but drama around low viewing figures of Allsång På Skansen and some radical decisions media required from this show like replacing Anders Lundin with Måns Zelmerlöw as a new host, you can read it more detailed in interesting article of our dear friend EuropeCrazy. Speaking about performances I'm not gonna give give a full review this time but mark some most interesting highlights. Let's start from Allsång På Skansen.
Huge public favorite Salem Al Fakir gave performance of his 2 last singles "Keep On Walking" and "4 O'Clock" well supported by audience, the last one turned to be especially joyful with such a wonderful public feedback.
Salem Al Fakir - Keep On Walking
Oskar Linnros has recently released album "Vilja Bli" that peaked at #2 and as I still can't write review of it you should also visit EuropeCrazy to read interesting review there. Oskar also performed his 2 last singles "Från och med du" and "Ack, Sundbyberg".
Oskar Linnros - Ack Sundbyberg
Jasmine Kara who just released her debut album "Blues Ain’t Nothing But A Good Woman Gone Bad" and autobiography "Hälsa henne att hon ska dö" performed already familiar for audience songs "In The Basement" and "Try My Love" showing all of her sweetness and amazing voice (still one of my top-candidates for Melodifestivalen-2011).
Jasmine Kara - In The Basement
Mando Diao has chosen 2 biggest chart favorites "Dance With Somebody" and "Gloria", very high-level performance that you can expect from one of the most popular Swedish rock-bands.

And sure I need to mention amazing medley of Real Group singing some most notable Swedish export-hits mostly from Golden Cheiron era, much appreciated!

Can you imagine sweetness of Sibel, Anna Bergendahl and Pauline in one artist? That's what I discovered just a few days ago.
Jasmine Kara is a new artist, when she appeared on Love Stockholm 2010 with her new single "In The Basement" I thought that it's some foreign guest-artist, fast look at her Myspace page convinced me she is American and as the single didn't make a big impact on me, I turned my attention to other interesting moments of the festival. At the same time during Summer new Jasmine's songs were rolling around Swedish iTunes chart and now when Jasmine released new video for her another single "Try My Love Again" I've found out that she's actually artist with Swedish-Iranian roots who was born and grown in Sweden and though last years she tried to breakthrough in USA currently she builds career in Sweden and it promises to be successful. On July 28th Jasmine will release her album "Blues Ain't Nothing But A Good" in Sweden and right now you can check what she is about on her Myspace page. Mostly it's a retro blues-stuff, probably you'll find something similar with Christina A. style (because of loud strong vocal of Miss Kara as well).
Talking about "Try My Love Again" it's a verrry catchy piece of Summer, sounding poppier (even with some raggae-vibes) than "In The Basement", Jasmine shows herself like utterly nice person, full of life, energy and charm. That's what's totally buying me from the first look and listen and making Jasmine's performance at Allsång på Skansen in two weeks one of the most expected ones. Hope you'll like her too!
